The Team
Our team is composed of passionate pet lover professionals and a veterinarian aiming to give more pets the gift of good health and endless energy through purely organic, high quality pet CBD.
Dr. Byron Lee, DVM, CCRT
Dr. Byron Lee came from a family of veterinarians with an unwavering passion for animal wellness. He is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute which is a program that focuses on improving and maintaining strength and mobility while decreasing pain in our furry friends via several modalities such as range-of-motion or balancing exercises, and utilizing the underwater treadmill.
Currently, he is dedicating his time to relief medicine, running a corporation called 'Byron the Vet' that helps local hospitals with doctor coverage at times of need. This has also allowed him more time to focus on other ways to help his patients out, with one of those being Koa Pets CBD.
With Koa Pets CBD, Dr. Byron can provide our pets with improved mobility, help skin issues, decrease stress, calm the neurologic system, and positively impact cognitive deficits in a whole new way!
Will Geeslin
Will Geeslin, our Chief Financial Officer/Advisor, is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over a decade of experience. He started his career at a global accounting firm producing thought leadership and technical guidance before entering the startup world. There he led creation and implementation of financial and accounting systems to scale the business on its way to a New York Stock Exchange IPO. He eventually found his way back to his family’s accounting and advisory firm, where he serves as a partner and works with clients on strategic planning across various industries, Will's financial acumen is invaluable to our pet CBD company.
Apart from his professional pursuits, Will is an avid traveler, adventure seeker, and golfer. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Margaret, and their French Bulldog, Walter. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from Auburn University.
His balanced approach to life and work makes him an integral part of our team, guiding us towards innovative growth in the dog wellness industry.
Tiare Brown
Tiare's experience in marketing and remarkable love for pets of all sizes and kinds has become integral to getting Koa to more pets who need it most.
With her expertise and extensive experience in social campaigns, trade marketing, pet memes and pet moral support, Tiare has become invaluable in connecting Koa to many pet owners and veterinarians alike!
Mochi
Mochi's experience in socializing and sniffing during walks makes him the perfect paw partner in making sure our employees are all in tip top shape.
Mochi also regularly hangs out with each of us and cheers us up when we're not feeling our best. Simply put, he is the goodest bravest boi of Koa.
